National Carpet Cleaners Association

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my carpet take to dry

Approximatly 90% of the amount of water used in the cleaning process is removed by the vacuum strength of our machinery. Drying times depend on humidity levels, air flow to the rooms cleaned and the type of carpet. By raising the temperature and opening windows to increase airflow to remove humidity carpets should be touch dry in between 1 - 6 hours. In most cases it is possible to walk on carpets as soon as we are finished (just remember to remove outdoor shoes first to avoid re-soiling).

Do i need to empty the room

We will move the furniture as long as it is safe and managable to do so and would strongly recommend that you remove valuable and precious items from the room before we arrive.

Are you fully insured

Yes. To meet the strict criteria for membership of the National Carpet Cleaners Association we have to provide proof of our public liability and risk treatment insurance cover.
